I believe that UNICEF is an effective organization in responding to the needs of the global community because they want to help change millions of peoples lives so that their children are getting the nutrition, education they need to survive. The issues that the organization are, to help millions of children get into school, getting fresh water, getting nutrition that they need to survive. UNICEF has effected million of children's lives in Canada by, advancing the rights for us to learn, laugh and live. The role that we've been given, EDUCATION, HEALTH and NUTRITION.
ReplyDeleteI believe UNICEF is an effective organization because the organization has help out all over helping vaccinate children and giving girls an access to an education. In the video it shows how much they will help developing countries or countries who had a natural phenomenon. One thing that is not effective is that they don't always give a long term solution, they would give a temporary solution that would eventually where off.
ReplyDeleteI believe that UNICEF is an effective organization because children around the world are in sickness and need vaccinations which will make them better, the UNICEF organization will help children around get that access. Also according to the video Unicef advances the rights of children around the world including Canada. Another reason UNICEF is successful as a company is because according to the video they have vaccinated over 58% of the world's children. UNICEF supports Providing Fresh water, Fresh Food , and an education. At the end of 2015 UNICEF will have halted the spread by then.
ReplyDeleteI believe that UNICEF is an effective organization because UNICEF helps and protect children around the world who are in hard circumstances (e.g. Poverty, Abuse, etc.), and according to the video, UNICEF advance rights for all children in the world. This organization help children internationally and gather help/funds internationally. UNICEF improve children's rights, including children in Canada. The role of UNICEF is to save, protect, help, provide children around the world.
ReplyDeleteI believe that UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) is an effective organization because UNICEF helps and secure the 5 pillars of freedom, the organization is international and deal with place like Africa and South East Asia.They have gave many human rights,education to girls and boys,and has protect many family from harmful materials in places around the world.Furthermore, I think the responsibility/role is too secure,help,and give the 5 pillars of freedom to children around the world globally.

What are some of the issues that the organization has been involved in that affect Canada?there have been many different individual fundraisers inside of the country of canada one of these include a young 8 year old boy named bilaal rajan who raised nearly 2 million canadian dollars to help many countries devastated by the 2003 tsunami that occurred in the indian ocean.he toured many countries affected by the natural disaster.today he is remembered as the so far youngest unicef fundraiser
What are some of the issues that the organization has been involved in that affect Internationally?
some of the issues that they have been in is aiding people in haiti this affected internationally by telling other countries that unicef helps many developing countries like haiti
How effective do you think this organization is in responding to the needs of the global community? I think it is quite effective because according to UNICEF they respond to about 200 emergencies in 90 countries in one year which in my opinion is very impressive.they also continuously help countries in need like haiti by giving them supplies and various other things

ReplyDeleteI believe that UNICEF is an effective organization because they helped give 14 million more children access to education. UNICEF has broken the cycles of poverty, disease and social inequality. They provided fresh water, nutrition, and education for millions of people all around the world. Their role is to protect children around the world who are in need and provide things that every human would need in order to have a sustainable life daily.

ReplyDelete1.the role of the organization Unicef is to help children whose lives are at risk in developing countries.Unicef was created after WW2, to provide proper health care and food. Also Unicef gives children the best start in life to survive and thrive.
2. some issues that Unicef has been involved in that also affect Canada are “ violence and abuse” these two issues still happen in Canada today.

Some issues that this organization has been involved in are hiv/aids,child protection.gender equality.Unicef tries to work internationally to help not have these topics anymore in the world but they mostly work in developing countries because they need the most help. This organization is very effective because so far they have: they worked in 190 countries globally,
they provide 35% of children in the world with vaccine, and
responded to 200 EMERGENCY event alone in the last year
I believe that UNICEF is an effective organization because they help make rights for children all around the world so everyone has the same opportunities. Also they help the Five Pillars of Freedom. Their role is to make sure that everyone around the world has the same rights and is treated equally

They try to spread all the rights of children, and along with that they also protect their rights by securing the pledges of 100 nations so children don’t have to be apart of any conflict. Also, their role is to break down the cycle of poverty, disease, and social inequality everywhere in the world. Also, UNICEF responds to 200 emergencies in around 90 countries around the world every year.
