  3. The natural environment impacts the people living in this civilization is that their might be some natural disasters and that will cause the needs natural stuff. Such as trees that can be used for lumber and it can be important to building a new house that will take a long time.

  4. If the people get sick they could not get medicine because there are no pharmacy stores in the rural environment.

  6. They will have to hunt animals to get food because there are no restaurants or stores in the rural environment and there is no lakes, streams, or rivers in the environment to catch fish or any sea animal or water.

  7. This couple had to grow and build their own things in their new habitat because there aren't any other people or families there and they will have to find a way to protect themselves for the weather because a you can in the video their roof is made of straw and that cant protect them from rain snow etc.

The natural environment impacts the couple because you never know when there is going to be a rain storm or any type of storm, they have to think about their health, their safety and their child's health and safety.

  8. the family's would have to build their own houses farm their crops and find food for themselves because they live in the past so there is no supermarkets of construction workers.

  9. The natural environment have impact and shape that they have to build their house small and with straw, and they have to hard work, because there isn't anybody working for them.

  10. The natural environment impact the couple in the video living in that civilization is that there is no medicine or hospitals near or around the place they live and they would have to build their house out of weak things such as grass ( straw ) and they cant get bricks to make it strong.

  11. the environment would impact the civilization. because in this peculiar land it is dry and there is very little water. another thing is that there are no trees, meaning they can't build their homes out of lumber.

  12. The natural environment impacts their physical needs because the land was an open field with only the materials to make breed and a shelter out of sod.Their natural environment has impacted how they live because they don't have any trees to start a fire or coal, oil, or gas.The environment has impacted what they used to make their house which was sod i think that they used sod because that was the best material around .

  13. The natural environment impacts their physical need because since they are in a rural place, if something were to happen like twisters, then they would need materials that they may not be able to reuse and rebuild the house for shelter.

  14. I think the natural enviorment effects their needs because in a rual enviorment here is no pharmacys if you go sick you have to find medicanes in stead of buying it

    1. I think the natural enviorment effects their needs because in a rual enviorment there are no pharmacys close by. If you need medicine you have to drive far to get some

  15. The natural environment effects their physical needs because of climate and natural disaster. Also need to make stronger house made with wood to keep safe.

  16. I think the natural environment effects their needs by you have to be working all the time. for example they were slicing the hey ,cooking, carrying the hey back to the house.

  17. The natural environment has an impact because the wife and husband had to grow their own food because there were no grocery stores they also had to hunt down animals to get food.

  19. The natural environment effects their physical need because people have to work hard to have food even being poor. Being in a rural environment not having a medicine store to go to if you are sick. And being poor and with no house the climates change so people have to suffer in battling the natural disaster

  20. The natural environment has an impact because in the video the wife and husband did things the hard way such as planting crops, today al we have to do is go to the grocery store so therefore the environment has an impact.

    1. I agree with you Emily because back in the old days, they mostly grow their own crop and I think they mostly built their own homes because they didn`t have any machines to help them grow, harvest and build their own homes and crops. Now in our days life is easier because we have machines to help us grow and harvest our plants and and to help build skyscraper`s and etc.

  21. The natural environment impacts and shape there life because in the 1890s there were no grocery stores and any cars to help there life.Meaning if they wanted food they would need to breed and hunt and walk or horse to a place

  22. The natural environment has an impact on our physical need because there were no supply like food or medicine for them so they have to grow their own food and they can't do anything when their sick

  23. The natural environment has an impact on our physical needs because they had to go hunting for animals, make fires out of wood, and grow crops so the environment was a rural area. They and so had to make shelters, and travel to find the things they needed like food and water because there were no grocery stores and/orb shopping malls for them to go to in the 1890's.

    2. The couple had to adapt by using the materials they had to meet their needs (like shelter, food and water). They had to grow certain plants/products to help cure sicknesses because they didn't have any pharmacy's.

  24. The natural environment has impacted and shaped people’s physical needs in the Prairies because the land they had moved on was only a big field. The couple needed to build their own house out of the resources they had (for example: mud and straw). Also they had to find their own source of food so they had grown crops to eat. Therefore the natural environment did impact and shape the couple living on the Prairies.

  25. The natural environment impacts and shapes the physical needs of the people living in this civilization because they need to go hunting for animals, they have to grow crops, and they have to build a shelter for them to live in.

  26. The natural enviroment has impacted and shaped people's physical needs because in the video the people needed to live on their small resources. For example: during the video the couple made their home out of weat, and possibly dirt/mud. Also to get food they needed to survive, they would have to grow their own crops, and raise lifstock in order to survive.

  27. The natural environment impacts and shapes the physical needs of the people living in this civilization by the weather. It was long ago so there was no heating and if it rained and the firewood got wet the wood wouldn't light.

  28. The natural environment that had impacted and shaped the people in the video physical needs because they had to go hunt down animals or grow crops in order to get food. They couldn't go to a store and buy food.

  29. This environment that the people are living in impact the shape and physical needs of their civilization because the mountains in there civilization can contain food, trees, and medicinal ingredients that can be used for making medicine for treating diseases in the community and trees to allow them to make materials. The plants can also provide a way to create food.

    1. also, to add on o my response, they depended on livestock and other animals to help them survive, for food, making crops, and etc.

  30. The natural environment has an impact because the women and the man had to hunt animals and grow there own crops because that was there only source of food and they had no access to stores.

  31. The environment shaped this civilization with things like where they lived they had to make their own homes and they did not live in apartment buildings like some people do today they lived in small houses. They also had to grow and get their own food they could not go to a grocery store and buy their food they had to hunt or grow it themselves.

  32. The natural enviroment impacted and shaped the enviroment shown in the video. Unlike our civilization, they are living in a more isulated and remote (rural) civilization. Because of that they don't have malls or grocery stores to provide them things like warmth, food, and water, which are nessasary for life. Instead, their civilization must crop there own food, create their own heat (with fires), and clean their own water.

    1. I agree with you Isabella because in the past 200 years people used animals and them selves to build things. But now that we have machines and technology we are able to to do the job quicker and smoother, but back then the job was much harder for them.

  34. I think the natural environment has an effect on the civilization because the people only have natural things(e.g. grass and hay) to make things like houses and in our civilization we have cement, bricks and other unnatural things that we can make our houses out of and other things like that.

    ReplyDelete
  35. it will effect there physical needs as a person because these people are building a house, but if they started to late, by winter comes they will have nothing to keep them warm and have no food to eat.

    ReplyDelete
  36. The natural environment impacts their civilization because depending on the place around them, their house will be different and their way of living would also be different. For example, what those two people had around them was grass and hay, so their house was mostly made out of hay.

    1. I agree with you because you have to use what you have around you to survive.

  37. The natural environment impacts ther civilization because they are new to the civilization so they would have to adapt. For example, they would have different materials so they would have to get used to building things with the materials like straw houses. Also, they would have to get used to the weather like dryness aposed to what they are used to. They would also need to find a way to comunicate incase there was another person who did not understand them;since they came from different places.

  39. This couple had to adapt to the prairies open field and natural resources so they could live a sustainable life. They would adapt by using different materials, weather and the ecosystem around them. In the video it shows how they gathered materiel to build shelter, grow/harvest crops and their transportation.

  40. These immigrants have to adapt to life on the prairies by dressing according to the weather/temperature, eating what is given in the wildlife area and building shelter with material that is given.

  42. The immigrants in this video would have to adapt to the weather and have to adapt to hunting for food, to be able to survive.

  43. The immigrants in the video had to learn how to work harder and adapt to whether, food source and how to survive in this new place they are to call home.

  44. the natural environment impacted their physical needs in many ways.one of the ways was they did not have the technology we have today for example when she gave birth she had no machines to help her also they had to mow their land with a horse drawn plow when now we would have used a tractor. also since they seemed to be living in the prarie and there are lots of storms in the prairie they would have to make a house with decent protection and that would be very time consuming.

  45. also getting from place to place is harder without having cars but instead usig horses which are not as durable or as reliable as cars
